Whinhill Golf Course

Whinhill Golf Course is situated in Moorland above Greenock in Scotland. The 18-hole course has panoramic views over the River Clyde and surrounding countryside.

How We Helped

We manufactured a number of SECUR-DOR 2* security doors for installation at their clubhouse. The client required several doors replacing that would ensure an enhanced level of security over a standard perimeter door.

As the golf course is so close to the coast, we finished the doors in a C5 marine grade powder coat finish, Ultramarine Blue (RAL 5002). This was to help prolong the lifespan of the door, protecting the metal underneath from the highly corrosive sea air.

SECUR-DOR 2* offers fantastic flexibility for this project as it is available certified to both STS 202 BR2 & PAS 24 and is approved by Secured by Design.
