All our doors are custom built to order to ensure that we meet our customer’s requirements, so we do not offer a range of “standard sized” doors. Please contact us to discuss your specification with our estimators.
We can manufacture doors in as little as 15 working days, however as our doors are all made to order, our lead time may vary depending on various factors such as the complexity of the door and the number of doors required. Please contact us to discuss your requirements, as we may be able to supply doors even quicker than this!
We understand that every customer and end user has different requirements, which is why we ensure the perfect solution by manufacturing every door to order. If you need a temporary solution in an emergency (for example to secure a site following a break in) then our off-the-shelf TEMP-DOR is the exception that’s here to help! Available from stock for nationwide delivery, it features an adjustable frame for maximum compatibility.
Yes we can! Our TEMP-DOR is available from stock for next day delivery or immediate collection, meaning that you can secure your premises in an emergency quickly and easily. It provides more functionality and security than boarding, and looks much more aesthetically pleasing too! TEMP-DOR features an adjustable frame to fit openings 875mm-1095mm for maximum versatility, is non-handed so can be configured for inward or outward opening, and features an escape sashlock for compliance to BS EN 179. We offer over 50 PPC (polyester powder coated) colours as standard – please check out our colour chart here. We’re happy to finish in any non-standard colour of your choice too, and also offer wood-effect and stainless steel finishes.
Steel doors resist warping, rotting, insect damage, and require less ongoing maintenance than traditional timber alternatives. For more information about the increased safety and security, weather resistance and lifespan of steel doors compared to timber doors, please contact us.

We are a trade only company who specialise in manufacturing steel doors for industrial and commercial properties. However, many of our doors are used in residential buildings, such as hotel foyers, communal areas in social housing developments, and boiler rooms or refuse areas in apartments and high rise developments.

Our broad product portfolio encompasses fire rated, security rated, fully glazed, low u value, internal and external doors – plus some products that are combinations of two or more of the above! Therefore the cost of your door depends not just on the size, but also your performance requirements. For this reason, we always ask you to contact us to discuss your requirements with our estimators who will then provide you with a detailed quote tailored to your specific door.
Yes, we serve the Republic of Ireland and can arrange for our doors to be delivered to ports for onward shipping overseas. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
The “clear opening” is the usable space when the door is fully open. To work out a clear opening, measure from the face of the door leaf when it is fully open to the opposite door frame on a single door. For double doors, measure the gap between the faces of the two leaves when they are both fully open.
The structural opening refers to the inside dimensions of the opening (or reveal) where the doorset is to be fixed. Be sure to measure top, middle and bottom for the width, and left, middle and right for the beight. The smallest dimensions for each should then be used. Check out our Site Survey Sheet for more information and tips about accurately measuring a structural opening.
Always ensure you take a minimum of three measurements each for the height and width, and supply the smallest measurement for each. You can also check for squareness by measuring the opening diagonally corner-to-corner. Our frames come with extensions as standard to accommodate tolerances of -0mm / +15mm to each side, but if you have any concerns about the shape or dimensions of your structural opening then please contact our estimators who will be happy to advise and work with you to create a suitable solution.
We have a Door Handing Chart which depicts every possibility for single and double doors – simply work out which one is applicable for you and advise us of the reference!
Each lock is supplied with a minimum of two keys, with additional keys available on request.
Yes. We can provide “keyed alike” locks so multiple locks can be operated with a single key – please advise your estimator if this is a function you require.
We tuck them just inside the frame, marking their whereabouts with a “KEY LOCATION” sticker for your convenience.
Yes you can, but we will need the number on the key itself to be able to source this for you. Please contact our estimators for more information.
All our fire-rated doors are independently tested to recognised standards and supplied with certification for compliance. All our fire and security testing is conducted by established third party testing companies for transparency and peace of mind. You can learn more about our certifications here.
We offer steel doors tested to recognised security standards, including PAS 24 and LPS 1175 (SR2, SR3 and SR4). The right rating for you will depend on the level of protection required for your application; if you’re unsure which certification you need, then please contact our estimators who will be happy to provide information and advice.
Yes it can! We manufacture doors that meet both fire protection and security requirements, including TUFF-DOR 2.1 and SECUR-DOR 2.1, which are both available with 60 minutes fire resistance to certain specifications – please contact our estimators for further information.
A fire door is designed to contain fire, and where possible, smoke. A fire exit door provides a safe escape route for people within the building, and is therefore often outward opening and features hardware such as a “push to exit” panic bar.
A door can be both fire rated (designed to contain the fire) and act as a fire exit, but because fire exit doors are designed primarily for egress then the locking, hardware and weatherproofing must be appropriate and meet all required standards. Our estimators will be happy to advise on suitable specifications to meet your requirements.
Yes. By making certain adjustments to a product specification (for example using a mineralwool infill to the leaf) we can improve it’s thermal performance, thereby helping to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. U values vary by product and can be provided on request, but a number of our doors achieve 1.5(W/m²K) as standard, including fire rated and security rated options. An incredibly low U value of 1.3(W/m²K) is possible with our OUTA-DOR THERM specialist product.
Doors are delivered securely packaged on a pallet for maximum protection during transit, with all hardware already fitted. You will also receive a fixing kit for each doorset.

Yes. We can deliver directly to building sites, provided there is safe access for our delivery vehicles and arrangements are made for unloading.
Please inspect your delivery upon arrival and report any damage immediately to our Customer Service department. Note the damage on the delivery paperwork, take photographs, and contact us within 24 hours of receipt via so that we can arrange a prompt resolution. Please note that we’re unable to accept claims for damaged products after installation.
Essential installation tools include a power drill/impact driver, hammer drill, screwdriver set, spanners or socket set, hammer & chisel, shims/packers, caulking gun, spirit level & tape measure, and pencil/marker & chalk line.
Optional but helpful items include a laser level, crowbar/pry bar, rubber mallet, and vacuum or brush.
A full installation guide is provided with every door. And of course, don’t forget your PPE!
No we don’t – we are a supply-only steel door manufacturer, fully committed to manufacturing products on behalf of our customers within the door trade who offer their clients a full supply and fit solution.
No we don’t – as we are firmly committed to being a trade only supplier, our customers conduct their own site visits to advise us of their requirements.
Robust steel doors should NOT be cut or altered after delivery, particularly if fire or security rated as doing so may void certification and/or affect performance. Our doors are all custom built to order, so will be delivered to the exact dimension specified by the customer.
We offer up to 10 years anti-corrosion warranty, dependent on the material used to manufacture your door and the environment it will be installed in. Please contact us for further information.
BS EN 12944 classifies environments based on their corrosivity risk, with C1-C3 ranging from very low to medium, C4 is high, and C5 is very high. This applies to both interior and exterior environments, for example a C4 classification can be coastal areas 300m-2000m from the sea, or chemical plants/swimming pools. Therefore our anti-corrosion warranties vary depending upon the application that the door will be installed in, and you must advise us if the installation will be anything other than C1-C3 for our anti-corrosion warranty to apply and to allow us to upgrade your paint finish, hardware and apertures if applicable.
We recommend that doors and their associated hardware undergo maintenance checks and thorough cleaning at least every six months, with doors that experience heavy use or that are located in exposed locations being assessed more frequently. This encompasses all parts and components; for further information please read our Care & Maintenance Instructions, which can be found in the Useful Downloads section.
Yes. We can supply replacement parts, locks, handles, hinges, and other hardware for our steel doors. Contact our team with your door’s “Q number”, which can be found on the label located on the inside edge of the leaf.
