OUTA-DOR PREMIO By Novoferm

OUTA-DOR Premio is the next generation of steel doors for Europe. The huge range of variants and consistently uniform appearance make it particularly ideal for construction projects. With an attractive thick rebate and many other design features, they even look good in the office. One door for all needs. OUTA-DOR Premio is developed in line with the European product standard EN 16034: 2014 – the relevant standard for CE Marked external fire rated doorsets. This product standard is not yet applicable for interior fire rated doors. Therefore, Novoferm is now the first steel hinged door manufacturer to gain a European Technical Assessment (ETA), which is now an official certification for fire proofing interior doors in all countries inside the EOTA organisation. When EN 16034 becomes applicable to interior fire rated doorsets, the ETA will automatically expire and EN 16034 will be the official basis for CE Marking interior doorsets. NovoFire® is available in 3 configurations: NovoFire® RS (non-fire rated, smokeproof), NovoFire® T30 (EI 30 fire rating) and NovoFire® T90 (EI90 fire rating). Ideal for use in offices, shopping centres, airports, hotels, hospitals, schools and other similar public buildings; GLAS-DOR is manufactured in the UK and available made-to-measure.

Product Specification

OUTA-DOR Premio bundles numerous benefits into a coherent whole package that includes fast and convenient installation and a wide choice of back-filling materials.

IMPRESSIVE DESIGN AND THICK REBATE

The highly modern design and attractive thick rebate (1) used consistently right through to the EI² 90 model give the door the charm it needs to impress in office surroundings.

FUNCTION UNITES WITH DESIGN – AND THAT EVEN INCLUDES THE HINGES

Our method of bolting the hinges (2) to the door panel offers more variety of choice and design scope. Slimline, customised hinges, strong standard hinges or adjustable 3-D hinges (in a choice of steel or stainless steel) turn OUTA-DOR Premio into a real beauty. An impression that is further enhanced by the huge choice of available colours and designs.

LESS IS MORE: HIDDEN FEATURES MAKE THE DOOR EVEN MORE ATTRACTIVE

A flush centre rebate means OUTA-DOR Premio can dispense with a surface mounted centre transom, greatly enhancing the appearance (3). The same applies for the details, such as barrier-free sill variants with hidden adjustable floor seals.

A huge range of special accessories, hardware (4) and locking variants keep OUTA-DOR Premio looking good while complying with legal regulations.

ATTRACTIVE, STRAIGHT FORWARD DESIGN – FLUSH CENTRE REBATE WITH INTEGRATED CENTRE TRANSOM

Double OUTA-DOR Premio doors also feature the attractive rebate design – including the complex EI² 90 model.

The centre transom with flush centre rebate is clearly integrated into the inactive leaf. Regardless of whether additional panic locks, bolt contacts or electric door openers are fitted, the centre transom works reliably with virtually any lock you want.

SECURITY FEATURES

OUTA-DOR Premio is also in a class of its own when it comes to the security classifications defining what resistance a door must demonstrate in which circumstances. The latest European standards governing burglar resistance have been in force since 2011, and distinguish between classes RC1 – RC6. These security classifications are based on the following procedure: A fictitious burglar examines the door plans for possible weak points; the clock starts ticking when he starts trying to break in. The higher the RC, the heavier the tool that can be used.

OUTA-DOR Premio is available with both one or two leaves with burglar resistance RC2 and RC3. This is tested and approved when fitted into masonry, concrete, foam mortar and also burglar resistant gypsum partition walls.

The test for RC3 involves a burglar using 2 screwdriver, small hammer, mechanical drill and a crowbar to try and gain access through leverage. The drill is used on any locking mechanisms.

IMPACT RESISTANT GLAZING FOR RC2 SECURITY DOORS

Impact resistant glazing as per EN356 is standard on RC2 doors. Any OUTA-DOR Premio door – even EI² 30 and EI² 90 models can, however, be optionally fitted with P4A customised impact resistant glazing for even more reassurance. Glass retaining strips can also be safeguarded against anyone unscrewing or levering them off.

2140B UNIVERSAL FRAME PROFILE: ONE SOLUTION FOR ALL INSTALLATION SITUATIONS

The 2140B universal frame is a clever union of front and counter skins, creating a two-part wrap-around door frame. Complete with smoke and fire protection (EI² 30 / EI² 90), soundproofing and burglar-resistance, the 2140B is in a class of its own. Even corner frame already in place can be retrofitted – or better: upgraded – with a counter skin.

According to the classification report, only the front skin of a frame must be backfilled*, while the counter skin can be left empty. The assembly process is facilitated by various backfilling options, as well as by the installation kits that can be supplied for virtually any type of wall (see illustrations).

The combination of OUTA-DOR Premio and 2140B universal frame profile is, of course, approved as an all-in-one system – complete with smoke and fire protection, soundproofing and burglar resistance. Depending on the installation team and conditions on site, several flexible options for classified backfilling materials exist.

*Frame must be backfilled with Mortar to ensure EI fire rating. Pre-filled frames are available at an extra cost.
